Uzbekistan imported $80 million worth of mobile phones over five months
In January-May 2022, Uzbekistan imported about 1.1 million mobile phones from 10 countries for $80 million.

The State Statistics Committee notes that mobile phone imports increased by 216,311 units compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported mobile phones mainly from the following countries:
- China – 846,504
- Vietnam – 128,407
- India – 73,371
- UAE - 47,112
- Kazakhstan – 4,030
- South Korea – 1,586
Mobile phone imports by months:
- January – 129,766
- February – 284,461
- March – 286,056
- April – 276,362
- May – 124,393
