Uzbekistan exported $335 million worth of fruits and vegetables in Jan-May

In January-May 2022, Uzbekistan exported 615.6 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables for $335 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of exports increased by 44 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

The volume of fruit and vegetable exports:

• Fruits and berries - 61 thousand tons
• Dried fruits and berries - 17.6 thousand tons
• Vegetables - 498 thousand tons
• Cabbage - 127.8 thousand tons
• Tomato - 41.4 thousand tons
• Grapes - 10.1 thousand tons
• Raisins - 32.8 thousand tons
• Peanuts - 9.4 thousand tons
• Watermelon - 4.1 thousand tons
