Uzbekistan’s total officially registered COVID-19 cases surpass 240 thousand
On June 23, 94 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 240,087.
According to the ministry, 41 cases were recorded in the city of Tashkent, 4 – in Karakalpakstan, 4 – in Andijan, 6 – in Bukhara, 3 – in Jizzakh, 8 – in Kashkadarya, 4 – in Navoi, 4 – in Namangan, 8 – in Samarkand 5 – in Surkhandarya, 2 – in Syrdarya and 5 – in Tashkent region.
As of June 23, the number of recovered stands at 237,838 (+27). This is 99% of all the registered cases to date.
