President signs decree cutting prices for tinting car windows

I ask myself what I can do to resolve them. I am aware of issues raised in the media and on social networks,” Mirziyoyev said. “Today, the number of cars in our country has exceeded 3.5 million. So I have just signed a long-awaited resolution that will bring joy to the hearts of drivers and passengers.”

According to the press secretary of the president, Sherzod Asadov, from July 1 of this year, tinting of the rear side windows of cars will be free of charge.

The price for tinting all side windows will decrease by six times.

Currently, the cost of a tinting permit is:

• full (all sides) - 50 BCAs (15 million soums);
• rear side windows - 5 BCAs (1.5 million soums).
