WizzAir Abu Dhabi will launch regular flights on the routes Abu Dhabi-Tashkent-Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi-Samarkand-Abu Dhabi. This was announced following the meeting between Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Shukhrat Vafayev and a delegation of the airline headed by Managing Director Michael Berlui, the MIFT press service reports.
Flights to each of the destinations will be operated four times a week.
The management of WizzAir Abu Dhabi also announced its intention to expand the flight destinations in the budget price segment.
It was noted that the launch of new flights will satisfy the growing demand for air travel between the UAE and Uzbekistan, ensure the availability of tickets, and increase passenger traffic between the two countries.
WizzAir Abu Dhabi, a low-cost airline based at Abu Dhabi International Airport, is a joint venture between ADQ and Wizz Air Holdings, an international holding company.
