Mirziyoyev and Lavrov discuss relations of strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia
On July 28, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, participating in the meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers.
At the meeting, the sides discussed in detail topical issues of bilateral cooperation, relations of strategic partnership and alliance.
Special attention was paid to the development of the situation in the region and aspects of interaction within the framework of international structures, including preparations for the SCO summit.
Earlier today, Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the Foreign Minister of China, Wang Yi. The parties exchanged views on strengthening strategic partnership and expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
