Procedure for submitting documents for issuance of a driver’s license changed in Uzbekistan
From August 1, the procedure for submitting documents for issuing a driver’s license is changing in Uzbekistan.
According to the government decree “On measures to simplify the procedures for provision of public services in the field of road safety”, from August 1 this year, all relevant documents for registration of study groups, as well as documents for passing exams for candidates and issuing a national driver’s license will be submitted only through a Single Portal of interactive public services (Single Portal), except for the preparation of documents for passing the driving test for candidates who have completed advanced training courses for business entities.
Previously, it was reported that the service “Applying for exams for obtaining a driver’s license” has been launched at a Single Portal.
With the help of this service, citizens who have completed a driver training course send their documents to the regional registration and examination offices of the MIA.
To apply, one must provide a certificate of completion of driver training and retraining courses, as well as a medical certificate form 083.
After submitting an application through a Single Portal, the regional registration and examination departments will check the citizen’s documents and send the applicant a notification of admission to the exams.
When using the service through a Single Portal, a 10% discount is provided. Thus, the service costs 24,300 soums.
