Tashkent airport simplifies customs control
Tashkent airport has launched a system that allows for remote customs control of passengers and their luggage.
A system of remote customs control has been launched at the departure terminal of the Tashkent International Airport, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.
The system allows for remote customs control of passengers and their luggage by analyzing surveillance cameras and pre-received information about the flight.
With the help of cameras installed around the entire perimeter of the terminal, customs officers will be able to remotely monitor the situation in real-time and conduct customs screening of passengers only when necessary.
“The new system will allow passengers flying abroad to pass customs control faster and without delay,” the statement says.
