Two people died after poisoning with watermelon in Namangan
Currently, law enforcement officials are conducting a pre-investigation check, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.
Allegedly, spouses, their children and grandchildren (6 people in total) were poisoned in the Narin district, Namangan region.
They were poisoned by a watermelon they had bought near the local dekhkan market on August 7. The watermelon was kept in the refrigerator until August 9. After eating the watermelon, the husband and wife died in the house.
Their children and grandchildren were admitted in the district medical association. According to representative data, a man and a woman died as a result of food poisoning.
A forensic medical examination has been ordered. The district prosecutor’s office is currently investigating the case.
