The following samples were purchased for testing:

ꞏ A sample of 12 mm diameter fittings of class A400 from the commercial complex of “DIMAX industrial-trade exhibition business center” LLC (Tashkent city, Nazarbek iron market), belonging to “AKRIL metal rolling”;
ꞏ A sample of 16 mm diameter fittings of class A400 from the commercial complex of “METALL CENTER” LLC (Tashkent city, “Izza” iron market), belonging to “Wang Da Group” LLC JV;
ꞏ A sample of 12 mm diameter fittings of class A400 from the commercial complex of “Jurabek Omad baraka” LLC (Tashkent city, Izza iron market), belonging to “WANGDA METAL” LLC JV;
ꞏ A sample of 8 mm diameter fittings of class A400 from a store of “TECHNOBUSINESS LUX” LLC (Syrdarya region), belonging to “BAO XIN METALL” LLC.

The selected test samples were checked by accredited laboratory specialists for compliance with the requirements of the general technical regulation “Reinforcement for reinforced concrete structures”, “On the safety of metallurgical products”, and the special technical regulation “On the safety of metallurgical products from ferrous metals used in construction”.

The results of the expected analysis were disappointing and showed non-compliance with the requirements of the standard. The mechanical and chemical properties of the samples of rolled metal-fittings did not meet the established standards. It was said that the defects found in rolled metal used for construction purposes, produced by small enterprises in particular, greatly harm the quality and safety of many constructions.

The agency has sent relevant information to the Ministry of Construction, the Construction Supervision Inspectorate under the Ministry to consider banning the sale of fittings that do not meet safety and quality requirements.

The inspection issued an order prohibiting the use of metal products that do not meet the above requirements in construction facilities.
