Abdujabbor Abduvokhidov resigns as presidential adviser
65-year-old Abdujabbor Abduvokhidov has been removed from his post as presidential adviser on youth, science, education, health, culture and sports.
According to a Kun.uz source, during the meeting, which was chaired by Sardor Umurzakov, it was noted that Uzbeks often complain about precisely those areas for which Abdujabbor Abduvokhidov is responsible.
Abdujabbor Abduvokhidov is the matchmaker of Tashkent Khokim Jakhongir Artikhodjayev.
He became a presidential adviser in July 2018. Prior to that, he worked as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
In mid-July 2022, by presidential decree, Sardor Umurzakov was appointed as head of the presidential administration.
On July 8, the former head of the presidential administration, Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov, was released from office due to transfer to another job for health reasons. He took over the administration in August 2018.
Later it became known that he became the first deputy chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions.
