Uzbekistan registered more than 10.6 thousand twin births over seven months

According the State Statistics Committee, 250 triplet births were registered in the country during the reporting period.

The number of twin births by regions:

• Kashkadarya region - 1,071 
• Tashkent city - 976 
• Namangan region - 944 
• Fergana region - 929 
• Surkhandarya region - 897 
• Andijan region - 889 
• Tashkent region - 872 
• Bukhara region - 507 
• Jizzakh region - 489 
• Karakalpakstan R. - 461 
• Khorazm region - 459 
• Navoi region - 354 
• Syrdarya region - 278
