Uzbekistan registered more than 10.6 thousand twin births over seven months
In January-July 2022, 10,621 twins were in Uzbekistan.
According the State Statistics Committee, 250 triplet births were registered in the country during the reporting period.
The number of twin births by regions:
- Samarkand region - 1,245
- Kashkadarya region - 1,071
- Tashkent city - 976
- Namangan region - 944
- Fergana region - 929
- Surkhandarya region - 897
- Andijan region - 889
- Tashkent region - 872
- Bukhara region - 507
- Jizzakh region - 489
- Karakalpakstan R. - 461
- Khorazm region - 459
- Navoi region - 354
- Syrdarya region - 278
