Uzbekistan Railways increasing number of trains on Tashkent-Volgograd route to two per week
The train will leave the capital’s railway station every Wednesday, starting from October 5.
Uzbekistan Railways announced the launch of an additional train on the route Tashkent-Volgograd-Tashkent (No. 323/324) from October 5.
The train will depart from the North Station of Tashkent on Wednesdays at 23:58 and arrive at its destination on Saturday morning. The journey will take about 60 hours.
The cost of a ticket for a reserved seat car is 1,316,660 soums, and for a compartment carriage - 2,040,570 soums. Prices are valid for 29 August.
One can buy a ticket at the railway ticket office or online at chipta.railway.uz. Detailed information is available at the box office, information desks or by calling 1005.
Since June 23, one train per week has been running between Tashkent and Volgograd. The train leaves the capital on the night from Saturday to Sunday and arrives at the terminal station of Volgograd on Tuesday morning. On the same day, it departs for Tashkent.
In addition, a train from Uzbekistan now runs weekly to Samara. From October 1, the number of trains on the route will also increase to two per week.
