Uzbekistan to implement 20 projects in water supply with the help of a loan worth $1.8 billion
It is planned to finance 20 investment projects implemented by Uzsuvtaminot JSC and international financial institutions at the expense of $1 billion 861 million of loan funds.
Davron Munavvarov, the department head of Uzsuvtaminot JSC, stated about this at the AIMC briefing.
Loan funds will be allocated from the WB, ADB, EBRD, AIIB, IsDB, Saudi Development and OPEC funds.
A total of 187 km of drinking water and 47 km of waste water networks were laid at the expense of attracting $148 million in January-August of this year.
In total, construction works were carried out in 41 facilities, 1 drinking water treatment facility, 2 water distribution facilities, 3 water wells were built and 5 water wells were reconstructed.
