In this regard, from September 14 to September 17, it was reported that the movement of vehicles will be restricted in some streets of the city of Samarkand.

The Ministry of Health announces the following on the organization of medical assistance in the city.

During the summit days, medical assistance will be organized in Samarkand in 3 directions:

ꞏ emergency medical care;
ꞏ ambulatory assistance;
ꞏ emergency medical care in a hospital.

About 50 ambulances and as many medical brigades have been deployed to the city, and they are working as usual on calls.

In order to provide ambulatory care, all family polyclinics belonging to the Samarkand city medical association are working as usual from 08:00 to 20:00.

Also, medical centers with family doctors and 2 nurses have been established in every community meeting in order to bring medical services closer to the population. They are provided with the necessary medicines for first aid, thereby providing ambulatory care for mild patients in the neighborhood itself.

In case of emergency, citizens are asked to call the “103” service.

“It should be noted separately that qualified specialists working in regional hospitals are involved in providing specialized medical care to patients in need of conservative treatment in district hospitals.

In addition, in urgent cases, qualified specialists from regional hospitals will be sent by mobile emergency medical teams to district and city associations, and opportunities for emergency operations will be created in this place.

All actions in this regard are managed by the ministry through the central headquarters established in the Samarkand regional health department,” the report reads.
