A group of people falsify expiration date of drugs, sell them near Tashkent
445,000 pieces of low-quality medicines with a total value of more than 3 billion soums were seized from those arrested.

According to UzA, on September 12 of this year at approximately 15:30, an operative event was held in house 44 of Registan mahalla, Yangiyul district. It was found that O. Jumayev and others conspired in advance, organized an illegal workshop in his house for the purpose of selling low-quality drugs.
It was also discovered that these persons were involved in counterfeit sales of expired, low-quality drugs manufactured abroad, by changing the expiration date.
A total of 445 thousand 61 pieces of 34 types of counterfeit drugs, packaging and money counting devices, devices for changing the expiry date of drugs, fake stamps, seals, and printers were seized from the residence of citizen O. Jumayev as physical evidence.
According to the conclusion of the assessment expert on September 13, 2022, the total value of 34 types of drugs taken from the offender’s residence was 3 billion 185 million 250 thousand soums. Currently, an investigation is underway.
