AZAL to launch direct flights to Samarkand, increase frequency of flights to Tashkent
Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) is increasing the number of flights to Uzbekistan.
In October, the airline will launch direct flights on the Baku-Samarkand route. Flights in this direction will be operated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
AZAL promises to launch ticket sales through the official website in the near future. They can also be purchased from accredited travel agencies.
In addition, it is planned to increase the frequency of Baku-Tashkent flights up to 5 times a week. Flights on Thursdays and Sundays will be added to existing flights on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
AZAL has been carrying out flights to Uzbekistan since June 2018.
