Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover at $32.1 billion after eight months of 2022
In January-August 2022, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan reached $32.1 billion.
Compared to the corresponding period of 2021, the figure increased by $7 billion, the State Statistics Committee said.
During the reporting period, the republic exported products ($10.3 billion) and services ($2.4 billion) for a total of $12.7 billion.
Imports, in the meantime, were recorded at $19.4 billion (products - $17.8 billion, services - $1.6 billion).
The negative balance of FTT amounted to $6.7 billion in January-August 2022, the report says.
