Futsal Asian Cup: Uzbekistan defeats Kuwait to reach semifinals
The quarterfinal round of the Futsal Asian Cup, which takes place in Kuwait, has ended.

In the last match of the quarterfinals, the national team of Uzbekistan defeated the hosts (3:0) thanks to the goals of Anaskhon Rakhmatov, Davron Choriev, and Khusniddin Nishonov and advanced to the semifinals.
Bakhodir Akhmedov’s team will play against Japan on October 6; the winner will book a spot in the final. The match starts at 19:00 Tashkent time.
In the second semi-final, Thailand will face the reigning champions, Iran.
