Deputy minister becomes khokim of Sardoba district

The khokim of Sardoba district, Syrdarya region, has been replaced.

On October 17, an extraordinary session of the Sardoba district council of people’s deputies was held. The meeting was attended by the regional khokim Gofurjon Mirzayev, heads of the regional and district sectors, deputies, district activists.

In his speech at the meeting, the head of the region critically analyzed the potential of the Sardoba district, the possibilities of industrial production and the implementation of large projects, as well as the mistakes made in the socio-economic development of the region. After that, he focused on further tasks and problems that await their solution.

Then, Akmal Arziyevich Mirzayev, who currently works as Deputy Minister of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was recommended for the position of khokim of the district. The deputies unanimously approved the candidacy of Akmal Mirzayev for this post.

In his career path, Akmal Mirzayev has worked in responsible positions in the Ministry of Agriculture, the presidential administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to that, the head of the Sardoba district was Abduazim Khidirov.
