Individuals kill a driver in Tashkent region to own his 14 million soums  

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, those who tried to get 14 million soums from the driver’s car and killed him were arrested in Kuyi Chirchik district of Tashkent region.

It was reported that on October 13 at 23:00 citizens A.N. (born in 1991, D.Sh. (born in 2003) and D.Kh. (born in 2003) hired A.E. (born in 1996), a citizen engaged in passenger transportation on the route Syrdaryo – Tashkent, to take them to the territory of Bostanlyk district.

Passengers got into his Lacetti car and found out that the car contained 14 million soums of money received as a parcel. After that, the driver A.E. was taken fraudulently to the territory of “Tolovul” mahalla of Kuyi Chirchik district and misappropriated the money. They strangled him by the neck and he was intentionally killed.

On October 14, the regional prosecutor’s office initiated a criminal case against A.N. and others under Paragraphs “i, p” of Article 97-2 (Intentional murder) of the Criminal Code. The killers were detained under Article 221 of the Criminal Procedural Code.
