Courts annulled over 1.3 thousand decisions of governors in 2022 – Supreme Court
In 9 months of 2022, administrative courts considered 7,004 cases of appeals against official decisions.

According to the information service of the Supreme Court, during the 9 months of the year, 11,525 cases arising from public-legal relations were considered by administrative courts and the rights of 5,589 individuals and legal entities were restored.
In particular, within 9 months, 7,004 cases of appeals against the decisions of administrative and self-government bodies and their officials were considered. The number of studied appeals related to invalidating the decision of governors amounted to 3,665, of which 1,339 were satisfied.
2,835 cases were reviewed by regional and equivalent administrative courts on appeal, 429 decisions issued by lower courts were canceled, and 52 decisions were changed.
2,213 appeals and protests were examined by the judicial panel of the Supreme Court on administrative cases in the cassation procedure, 1,096 of which were considered on the basis of case files. As a result, 166 of the decisions issued by the lower courts were canceled and 4 were changed.
Also, 36 cases were re-examined at the cassation instance, and 28 court decisions were annulled.
