Uzbekistan to launch e-system for declaring information about income of a civil servant and his family members
A draft state program for the implementation of a strategy to increase the transparency and efficiency of the activities of state bodies of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 has been published.
According to the project, in 2024, it is planned to launch an electronic system for promptly declaring information on income, expenses, property and property obligations of civil servants and members of their families, to ensure the continuous use of this information by the population.
Also in 2024, it is planned to gradually introduce a system for declaring the property of all categories of civil servants, law enforcement and judicial authorities, heads of economic entities with at least 50% state participation, judges, deputies and senators, as well as their family members.
It also provides for the introduction of liability for violating the procedure for providing information, not providing information, or providing deliberately false information related to the declaration of income.
