Officials looted funds allocated for school equipment in Angren and Chirchik

In the cities of Angren and Chirchik, cases of looting of funds allocated for school equipment were detected, the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes reported.
An investigation was carried out by the Angren city PGO Department.
In it, it was revealed that the head of the “T.Z.” LLC (G.K.) colluded with the director of the boarding school in Angren (V.U.) and embezzled 474.3 million soums by falsifying the documents about the receipt of school equipment that was not actually delivered to this school.
Similarly, an investigation was carried out by the Chirchik city PGO Department.
In it, it was found out that manager of the “T.Z.” LLC (F.K.), his assistant (Sh.A.) and director of specialized school in Chirchik (G.M.), in collusion, embezzled 124.2 million soums by falsifying documents regarding the receipt of office furniture that was not actually delivered to the school by this LLC.
In connection with the above cases, criminal cases have been initiated under Article 167 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement) and Article 209 (falsification of official authority). Currently, investigative activities are underway.
