Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov
The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of effectively using the potential of cooperation with St. Petersburg.
On November 8, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the city of St. Petersburg headed by governor Alexander Beglov. Issues of further expansion of practical cooperation at the level of regions of the two countries were considered.
Special attention is paid to the creation of a modern trade, commercial and logistics infrastructure to increase mutual trade, support and promotion of industrial cooperation projects of leading enterprises, deepening cooperation in the field of housing and communal services and urban planning.
The continuation of an active cultural-humanitarian exchange was supported.
An agreement was reached on the preparation and adoption of a “roadmap” for mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and the city of St. Petersburg.
