Shavkat Mirziyoyev awards Erdoğan with Order of Imam Bukhari

Today, on November 10, on the sidelines of the OTS Summit in Samarkand, Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with the Order of Imam Bukhari.

“Dear Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan! I am glad to see you in Samarkand. Today is a historic day.

As you know, in 2017, at the 72nd session of the UN, I spoke about studying the legacy of our great grandfather Imam Al-Bukhari, and at that time, the president of Türkiye, my colleague Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, supported this initiative,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev presenting the Order.

Tomorrow, the presidents of Uzbekistan and Türkiye, as well as leaders of other member countries, will take part in the OTS Summit in Samarkand.
