Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan condoles with Belarus over FM Makei’s death
Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei died at the age of 64.

The MFA of Uzbekistan took the news of the untimely death of Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei with deep regret, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“Vladimir Vladimirovich was a skilled and experienced diplomat, a high professional in his field and a true patriot of Belarus. We especially note his sincere desire to develop Uzbek-Belarusian relations of multifaceted cooperation. In recent years, he had made a significant contribution to strengthening friendly ties between Uzbekistan and Belarus. We will keep a good and bright memory of him,” the Foreign Ministry noted.
The ministry also conveyed words of sympathy and support to all colleagues, relatives and friends of Vladimir Makei.
The Foreign Minister of Belarus died on November 26 at the age of 64. According to the preliminary version, the cause of death was a heart attack.
