Uzbekistan’s GDP per capita growth slows
According to the State Statistics Committee, the gross domestic product per capita increased by only 3.6% in January-September 2022.
This indicator was 5.3% in the corresponding period of 2021 and slowed by 1.7% on a year-on-year basis.
GDP per capita rate over the past five years:
— January-September 2018 – 3.8%
— January-September 2019 – 3.7%
— January-September 2020 – 1.4%
— January-September 2021 – 5.3%
— January-September 2022 – 3.6%
