LLC in Andijan steals 685 million soums worth of electricity
This amount of electricity is equal to the monthly consumption of 6 thousand households.

During the control activities conducted by "Ozenergoinspeksiya" in the city of Andijan in order to determine the cases of illegal connection to electric networks and theft of electricity, it was found that an enterprise processing dairy products intervened with the work of the electrical measuring devices and stole 684.17 million soums of electricity, the Ministry of Energy said.
According to the ministry, this amount of electricity is equal to the monthly consumption of about 6 thousand households.
Following the conducted studies, the electrical devices of the consumer who illegally used electricity were disconnected from the network, the report said.
Documents have been sent to law enforcement agencies to take appropriate measures.
Investigations into cases of illegal use of electricity are ongoing.
