Japan to implement 3 investment projects in Fergana
On the sidelines of the Fergana delegation’s visit to Osaka (Japan), the region’s governor held talks with Japanese investors and participated in a business forum on the topic “Investment and tourism potential of Fergana region”.
Those gathered were given detailed information about the socio-economic development of the Fergana region, the work done on attracting investments and increasing the flow of tourists.
During the business forum, B2B meetings were organized between visiting entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Japanese businessmen in the fields of agriculture, textiles, healthcare and tourism.
Following the meeting, an agreement on the implementation of 3 investment projects with a total value of $15.5 million was signed between the Fergana region administration and Japanese companies.
