Foreign Internet companies in Uzbekistan paid 44.8 billion soums in taxes

The list of the largest taxpayers is led by Meta, Google and Apple.

According to the press service of the State Tax Committee, as of December 1, 2022, 40 foreign companies providing e-services were registered in Uzbekistan. Their number has doubled in 2 years.

During the 11 months of this year, these foreign companies paid 44.8 billion soums of tax, which is 2 times more than last year. In this case, 98% of the paid taxes are accounted for by 10 foreign companies providing electronic services:

Meta – 18.6 billion soums;
Google – 14.8 billion soums;
Apple – 6.2 billion soums;
Vooking.som – 1.4 billion soms;
Netflix – 867.7 million soums;
Xsolla – 798.1 million soums;
Yandex – 445.5 million soums;
Paddle.som – 404.2 million soms;
LinkedIn – 234.1 million soums;
Adobe Systems – 180.3 million soums.
