Two university rectors dismissed
The rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ulugbek Azizov, and the rector of the Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nusratulla Barakayev, have been dismissed from office.
Nusratulla Barakayev replaced Ulugbek Muhamedkhanov as the rector of the Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology following the president’s visit to Bukhara in March 2019.
Ulugbek Azizov, a doctor of philosophy in sociology, has been working as the rector of UzSWLU since August 2020.
