SSS prevents circulation of counterfeit money worth more than 360 million soums in two regions
The State Security Service (SSS) has exposed a criminal group trying to introduce fake money into circulation.

The SSS has detained a group that was circulating large amounts of counterfeit money, UzA reported.
During an operative event held by the SSS in Navoi city, it was found that a resident of Tashkent had counterfeit money in the amount of 221 million 100 thousand soums. He was carrying the fake money in the form of 100,000-soum banknotes in his Cobalt car.
The operative event was continued, and 5 people living in Navoi and Bukhara regions, who were his criminal partners, were arrested. Counterfeit money in the amount of 139 million 800 thousand soums was seized from them.
As a result, the circulation of counterfeit money with a total value of 360,900,000 soums was stopped.
