Muhammadali Urinboev joins Royal Antwerp FC
20-year-old Uzbek winger Muhammadali Urinboev has signed a four-year contract with Belgian side Royal Antwerp, as confirmed by the club’s official press service.
The young talent, previously playing for FC Pakhtakor Tashkent, has committed to Antwerp until June 30, 2029.
According to sources, the transfer fee paid to Pakhtakor amounts to €750,000.
Muhammadali Urinboev is the younger brother of renowned Uzbek footballer Zabikhullo Urinboev. He also previously had a spell with the Brentford Youth Team in England.
During his time at Pakhtakor, Urinboev helped the club win three Uzbek league titles. He was also the top scorer of the U-20 Asian Cup, netting four goals for the Uzbekistan youth team.
In the current Uzbekistan Super League season, the winger appeared in 14 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists for Pakhtakor.
Royal Antwerp, a five-time Belgian champion, finished fifth in the league last season.
