Last year, the country’s economy grew by 5.7%, according to the World Bank.

The bank experts estimated that the growth rate of the gross domestic product in Uzbekistan will be 4.9% in 2023, and 5.1% in 2024.

A recession in Russia and sluggish growth in China in 2023 will have a negative impact on the level of economic activity in Central Asia.

According to forecasts, the growth of the region’s economy this year will be 3.9%.
