Uzbekistan’s economy grew by 5.7% in 2022 — World Bank
The World Bank shared its projections for the growth of Uzbekistan’s economy in the coming years.
Last year, the country’s economy grew by 5.7%, according to the World Bank.
The bank experts estimated that the growth rate of the gross domestic product in Uzbekistan will be 4.9% in 2023, and 5.1% in 2024.
A recession in Russia and sluggish growth in China in 2023 will have a negative impact on the level of economic activity in Central Asia.
According to forecasts, the growth of the region’s economy this year will be 3.9%.
