MFA asks citizens to refrain from traveling through Kazakhstan by road

According to the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, due to unfavorable weather conditions throughout this country, more and more people are falling into a difficult situation on the highways of Kazakhstan and calling for help.

“The diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan are in constant contact with compatriots and relevant authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Citizens are provided with the necessary consular, legal and practical assistance.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that citizens of Uzbekistan refrain from traveling through the territory of Kazakhstan by road until the weather conditions stabilize,” the Foreign Ministry said.

The MFA also reminded that citizens of Uzbekistan who are on the territory of Kazakhstan can contact the country’s embassy in Astana (+717 2954252), consulates general in Almaty (+7273902616) and Aktau (+77292777117).
