Speed limit set at 60 km/h within Small Ring Road in Tashkent
In some areas, the maximum speed has been reduced from 70 to 60 kilometers per hour.

Protocol of the Republican Special Commission on Road Safety No. 3 was approved on January 17, 2023.
As the MIA Information Service reported, according to Appendix 1 to this protocol, the maximum speed of vehicles in some areas of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city of Tashkent and some regions will be 60 kilometers per hour.
The maximum speed of vehicles on the streets located within the Small Ring Road in Tashkent is set at 60 kilometers per hour.
It should be recalled that in some sections of the capital’s streets it was proposed to reduce the speed to 50 km/h. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet commented on this.
