Medals will be awarded in four events: men's and women's singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team competitions.

The team events will also serve as a qualifying tournament for next year's World Table Tennis Championships in Kazakhstan, with teams competing for places at the global event.

Uzbekistan will be represented by 10 players at the home championships.

The national team will begin its final training camp on October 12, preparing alongside the national teams of North Korea and Kyrgyzstan.
