The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the school No. 55 in Andijan district during his trip to the Valley on February 1. The head of state talked with the Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova and the director of this school.
“We made the director without arms, legs and eyes. Directors obey the head of the district Public Education Department – that is the truth. This is what needs to be eliminated. Everything is at school.
Umarova, let your system control it, but they should be given freedom too. The demand must be strong, and at the same time, the powers must be high. You have to go to the district Public Education Department to release even one person, what is that?” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
The President entered the classroom and talked to the teachers.
“Every teacher must enter the audience being worthy of our current children. The market economy is cruel. It cannot accept those who are not aware of it. Such people cannot find their ways in the market economy,” he said.
Mirziyoyev also visited the vocational training place allocated to entrepreneurs in the basement of this school. Here, senior schoolchildren are learning sewing, furniture making, confectionery, crafts, basket weaving, quilt making. In the school area, there is a car service, welding, typography, computer service and salons.
