FM Saidov receives outgoing Ambassador of Pakistan
The Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador of Pakistan Syed Ali Asad Gilani, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, Saidov expressed gratitude to the ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of a strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
During the conversation, the parties noted the importance of the practical implementation of agreements reached between the countries within the framework of events at various levels.
Syed Ali Asad Gilani expressed his gratitude to the Uzbek side for the support provided during his work as the head of the diplomatic mission.
It was noted that trade, economic and investment cooperation between the states has received significant intensification in recent years. Trade turnover for 2022 increased by 131%, and the number of joint ventures reached 200.
Following the meeting, the minister wished Syed Ali Asad Gilani success in his professional career.
