Traffic accident claims lives of 5 people in Karakalpakstan
Two of the dead were men and three were women.

Five people were killed in a collision with a Nexia-3 and a truck in Kungirot district, Karakalpakstan.
The information service of the Interior Ministry of Karakalpakstan reports that the incident took place on February 4, 2023, on the section of the A-380 “Guzor-Bukhara-Nukus-Beyneu” highway that passed through the “Jasliq” settlement.
It was reported that the driver of Nexia-3 lost control while driving in the direction of Kungirot district and collided with a Mercedes-Benz truck moving in the opposite direction.
As a result, 5 people living in “Jasliq” settlement – two men and three women died with serious injuries.
It is noted that a criminal case has been initiated by the Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in accordance with Paragraph “a” of Article 266-3 of the Criminal Code. Currently, investigations are underway.
