Universities with low employment rate among graduates may be closed down
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has issued a relevant warning to all higher education institutions.
During a videoconference meeting with rectors of higher educational institutions, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrohim Abdurahmanov said that from now on, special attention will be paid to the issue of employment of graduates.
According to Abdurahmanov, universities with a large number of unemployed graduates will now be considered an institution providing low-quality education. If they can’t make an improvement, their activities will be terminated.
Also, it is noted that universities will create a list of talented students and establish a mechanism to work with them separately.
