A 20-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan died at a construction site in Russia
Two migrant workers died at a construction site in Kudrovo, Leningrad Region, Russia. One of them is from Uzbekistan.
The tragedy occurred on February 21, at around 20:00.
Reportedly, a construction site guard was inspecting the facility when he heard the commotion. He then saw the buck hoist falling to the ground.
A 20-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan and an 18-year-old man born in Tajikistan were killed in the incident.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Leningrad Region has launched an investigation into compliance with labor protection legislation.
“During the investigation, all circumstances of the incident will be evaluated and the prosecutor will take measures accordingly,” the press service of the supervisory authority said.
