Yesterday, March 8, on the fact of the death of 36-year-old Alexander Nechayev, employees of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district prosecutor’s office began a pre-investigation check. The Russian journalist was found dead in his apartment in Tashkent.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination showed that Alexander Nechayev’s death was the result of “chronic cardiopulmonary insufficiency and coronary heart disease”.
“When examining the body, no bodily injuries and mutilations were found,” the supervisory authority said.
Earlier, it was reported that Alexander Nechayev, editor-in-chief of the “Byulleten kinoprokatchika” publication, was found dead in an apartment in Tashkent.
Later, the PGO announced that the prosecutor’s office of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent was conducting a pre-investigation check on the death of 36-year-old journalist Alexander Nechayev.
