UzSWLU student who promised to illegally send a citizen to USA via Mexico for $20,000 detained in Tashkent
Individuals who promised to send a citizen to the United States were arrested, the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes reported.

Recently, the Tashkent City PGO Department held an operative event in cooperation with employees of the State Security Service.
In it, B.J., a student of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, and others earned the trust of citizen E.N., promised to send him to the United States of America through the Mexican state for $20,000 with the help of acquaintances who allegedly work in a high position. The fraudsters were detained with material evidence while receiving $3,000 of the agreed amount.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, an investigation is underway.
