Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech at the session held in the building of Surkhandarya regional administration, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
According to the President, 201 million/kilowatt hours of electricity are produced per year at “Zarchob-1” and “Zarchob-2” micro hydroelectric power stations, which were commissioned in 2022. “Tupalang HPP", which will be put into operation today, will add another 467 million/kilowatt hours of electricity production per year.
In addition, the head of state gave instructions to the officials in the region on the following issues:
• allocating an additional 200 billion soums to the 1.1 trillion soums allocated for family business programs;
• organization of monocenters with a capacity of 1,000 students in vacant buildings of Business and Light Industry in Jarkurgan district and Agricultural Technical Schools in Uzun district;
• bringing 10 experienced specialists from Turkey, Japan and Germany to these monocenters and start training for modern professions.
“But it’s insufficient. Ulugbek Kosimov, together with the regional clusters, will undertake craftsmanship projects in 118 difficult mahallas and employ 10,000 residents by July 1,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
