Citizens who attempted to steal 323 million soums from an ATM detained in Samarkand (video) 

According to the Samarkand regional DIA, on March 31, at about 03:00, three unidentified men in medical masks and gloves disconnected the Turonbank ATM from electricity, which contained 323 million 290 thousand soums, and tried to steal the money.

At this time, the Security Department of the city of Samarkand received a signal about disconnecting the ATM from the network. As a result, employees arrived at the scene. Hearing the warning sounds of the service car, the unknown burglars disappeared.

However, as a result of operative-search activities of the Samarkand city DIA officers, three suspects were detained.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact. An investigation is underway.
