Saidov and Lavrov discuss prospects for further strengthening strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia

“We had a fruitful meeting. The agenda of the talks covered all areas,” Saidov said. “Trade ties with value-added products, which account for 64% of trade turnover, are showing record growth. Russia leads the list of investors in Uzbekistan with a portfolio of projects worth $28 billion.”
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the fourth ministerial conference of Afghanistan's neighboring countries.
On April 14, he will also attend the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers and the sixth meeting of the foreign ministers of Central Asian countries and Russia.
