Distributing nude pictures of others without their consent is now punishable with up to 3 years of imprisonment
Distributing nude photos and videos of others without their consent has been criminalized. The penalty for such an act is imprisonment for up to three years.

The Law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the further improvement of the system of reliable protection of the rights, freedoms, and legal interests of women and children" has been approved by the Senate.
It came into force on April 12.
Article 1413 was added to the Criminal Code by law. It established criminal responsibility for disclosing information that denigrates the honor and dignity of a person and reflects the private aspects of human life.
In particular, disseminating information containing naked photos and/or video images of a person's body and/or genitals without his/her consent, or threatening to disseminate such information is now punishable by a fine of 400-600 BCUs (Base Calculating Unit), or compulsory community service for up to three hundred and sixty hours, or correctional work for up to three years.
If these actions are committed repeatedly or by a dangerous recidivist, with a prior conspiracy by a group of persons, against a person who is under the age of eighteen, then they will be punished with compulsory community service from three hundred sixty to four hundred eighty hours, or with restriction of freedom from one to three years, or with up to three years of deprivation of liberty.
