People in Uzbekistan to have 4 non-working days on Ramadan Eid – presidential decree
April 21, 22, 23, and 24 will be non-working days.

The decree of the President of Uzbekistan on the celebration of Ramadan Eid has been announced.
According to the document, people will have four consecutive non-business days on Eid al-Fitr.
April 21 (Friday) is the Eid holiday, April 22 (Saturday) is an additional day off for employees of a 6-day work week, April 23 (Sunday) is a regular day off and April 24 (Monday) is also an additional non-working day for everyone regardless of the type of work week.
Reportedly, the decision on announcing 4 non-business days is made “in order to create favorable conditions for the residents to properly welcome and spend the Ramadan Eid holiday at a high level.”
